Do you have a retail store? William Arthur’s products (including the Vera Wang Fine Papers and RitaRenning brands) can be purchased at independently-owned fine stationery retailers nationwide. To locate the Authorized Dealer nearest you, visit our Dealer Locator.
Will I see a proof of my order before it gets printed? Using our Preview Technology, you will see a preview of your customized invitation, including copy layout, typestyle, and ink color. Please keep in mind that this is a preview for fonts (typestyle) and ink color only; it is not a proof. A professional typesetter will determine the correct point size, leading (space between lines of copy), and placement. Your Preview will be followed as closely as possible; however a typesetter may adjust sizing and spacing or make other necessary adjustments. It is suggested that if you have any concerns about your order, please request an e-mail proof. If you would like to see a color proof before your order is printed, please check the box that reads "Request Proof" as you are checking out. We charge $15.00 for an e-mailed proof. Please allow 2 business days for proof processing.
Can I see a sample (actual copy) of my invitation before it is printed? We are not able to provide an actual printed sample of your invitation prior to finishing and shipping your complete order. If you would like to see a visual representation of your order, we can supply you with a color proof via email. Proofs cost $15.00 for each set ordered. You may also choose to order a Printed Sample Pack, featuring printed examples of Flat, Thermography, Engraving, Letterpress and Digital print methods offered by
Will the colors I see on my monitor match the ink colors printed on my order? Ink colors and paper colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor display settings. Your printed product may look a little different than the color represented on your screen.
Will sales tax be added to my purchase? Only orders with a delivery address in Maine will be charged standard sales tax.
Rush fees, If you would like to expedite your order, there is a 35% rush fee. Please call our Customer Service department and they will be happy to assist you.

What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express.
When am I billed for my order? Your credit card will be authorized for payment when you click "process Payment" at the completion of the shopping cart process. Your should print your confirmation page as a receipt.
When your products ship, your credit card will be charged and you will receive a shipping confirmation via email.
If I ordered engraved stationery, can I re-order additional printed product? When you order engraved stationery, the engraving plates are shipped to you along with your printed stationery order. You can reorder at a future time by sending the die back to our company. To initiate the return of an engraving die, please contact Customer Service.
Where will the envelope lining and printed return address show when double envelopes are included in my order? The envelope lining will be placed on the inside envelope; the printed return address will be printed on the outside envelope flap.
Will you address my envelopes? William Arthur does not currently offer this service as an option.
Will you calligraphy my envelopes? William Arthur does not currently offer this service as an option.
Order Processing Time & Delivery/Shipping Information
International Orders – At this time we are unable to accept orders that have shipping addresses outside the United States of America.
How long does it take to process an order and what are my shipping options?
William Arthur will print and ship most orders in up to 5 business days from the time of receipt of order or proof approval. Please allow a full 5 business days for Engraving, Letterpress, Rita Renning and Vera Wang orders. Painted edge orders require up to 14 business days to complete once the final proof is approved.
Please allow 3 business days for the processing of boxed orders before shipping.
Once the processing of your order is complete, it will ship via your FedEx selection.
Ship time and cost vary depending on the ship method you choose and your location. Please see shipping options below. We ship all orders from Maine.
How do I track my order? William Arthur will provide you with email notifications confirming the receipt of your order, the delivery of your requested proof(s), and the ship date of your completed order.
APO/FP is shipped via the US Postal Service.
Large volume orders of 1,000 pieces or more do not qualify for our published Next Day or Second Day Air rates. Shipping costs for large volume orders are determined by weight and distance.
What is your return policy?
Please be sure to carefully proofread your invitation or stationery order prior to submitting it to us. Pay special attention to text such as capitalization, punctuation and dates. William Arthur checks for spelling errors and grammar, and we will make suggestions about wording when appropriate. However, we do not guarantee that we will catch all customer errors, especially those specific to your event and spelling of proper names. Should you make an error in your text and your order has been printed, we will work with you to correct the problem and reprint your order at a 50% discount.
If there is an error in printing caused by William Arthur, we will gladly reprint your order at no cost to you. If you have additional questions regarding the reprint of an order due to error, please contact Customer Service.
We accept returns on non-personalized products purchased from www.williamarthur.com only, for up to 60 days from the delivery date. Should you wish to return or exchange an item, or if you were shipped incorrect products, please contact Customer Service. Returns must be in original packaging, original boxes and have a packing slip enclosed. The freight for returns and exchanges is paid by the customer.
Credit issued back to the credit card charged by our accounting department and will take 7 - 14 days to process.
